Singer/songwriter/prodcuer Xavier Omär hails from San Antonio, TX. Omär’s contemporary R&B sound is decidedly laid-back and chill, yet exhibits a soulful passion that he’s displayed over his career. Growing up as Xavier Adams, his earliest musical influence was the church, and he later found inspiration through artists like John Legend and Frank Ocean. He initially began working under the moniker SPZRKT before adopting his current pseudonym.

He launched as a producer his career in 2013, and in just three years was collaborating with artists Asaiah Ziv, Mick Jenkins, Swade, and Sango. With the latter, he produced the EP Hours Spent Loving You as well as his solo debut EP, The Everlasting Wave.

Scoring a record deal with RCA, he released his full-length debut If You Feel in 2020 but later chose to reclaim his independence. Returning with several new songs featured on the EP b l u r r, in 2022, the single “Feelings 4 You” caught the attention of Barack Obama, who cited it as one of his favorite songs of the year.

His latest project is a collaboration with singer/rapper ELHAE, the EP Truth Be Told. Vibe wrote the joint-production is “one that R&B dreams are made of. It’s soothing, hypnotizing, and carries a vibe made for late-night drives and silent conversations.”
