Raised in Virginia, Remi Miles was surrounded by music his whole life. Exploring his parents’ eclectic record collection, from early on he was exposed to rock, pop, soul, and afro beat, to his advantage. Favorites emerged (Marvin Gaye, Sade, Feta Kuti, The Doors, and Bob Dylan, among others) which informed the choices he would made with his own music years later.
Making his new home in the seaside town of Brighton in the UK, Remi developed his live act amidst a thriving arts scene and began to record a series of singles starting in 2014, with his latest “Satellite City” hitting in late 2018.
