This beautiful and smooth-voiced singer-songwriter born in North London has been making music since she was a child. Her Eritrean immigrant parents were in a band when she was young. Her mother was a singer and her father a guitarist, Raheaven says her parents always felt closer to home through music. She has been on the indie music circuit for many years now and has been featured on many friend's tracks but now it's her turn.
Raheaven is not only a singer-songwriter but also is producing her own music. Something that many artists are doing nowadays especially independent musicians and bands. They feel more in control of their art. Although Raheaven is considered R&B/Soul she likes to bring a little something extra to set herself apart from others. Her singing is reminiscent of Eritrean singers and their music that she was brought up in, setting her apart from most R&B singers. Her musical influences are Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse, SZA, and more. She made her debut in 2018 with her EP, Heaven On Earth, and since then has been busy writing, recording, and producing.
