The band NME once lauded as “the bolshy art-punks bringing sexy back” have returned with a new album. Brooklyn’s BODEGA released its second full-length album, Broken Equipment, on Friday. In addition to the bands’ usual scathing takes on our crazy modern world, they’ve branched out a bit, adding a love song as well as a paean to singer Ben Hozie’s late mother (“After Jane”).
If you like what you hear, you can check them out in person as they’ve announced dates for a tour later this summer.
