Isaac Chambers describes his latest songs as “slow dubs, blues, hip hop, hawaiian surf jams, through to deep tech house/trance and beaks all with a touch of organic glitch..” It’s safe to say this New Zealand native isn’t beholden to a single genre of music. With beats inspired by funk, hip-hop and world music, his danceable electronica is infectious.
Chambers has released two albums so far, Love Back in 2016 and last year’s Flutter, as well as theEP Planet Fruition and multiple singles. He’s worked with the likes of Princess Dub, Hoop Dogg, Bluey Moon, as well as producing re-mixes for Madu. Collaborations like these and extensive touring are definitely expanding his sphere of influence.
