Fazerdaze

New Zealand singer-songwriter Amelia Murray professionally known by Fazerdaze

has been creating a buzz in the indie music world. She is a multi-instrumentalist and she recorded her debut EP in 2014 all on her own. In an interview, she says that she is still growing and feels like we are all watching her grow. She says she started Fazerdaze as a way to document her development.

She cut her teeth touring around the world opening for such acts as Connan Mokasin and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. She struggled at first because she didn't know how to make things

grow for herself with her music. Since she alone was putting out her own music and then playing

at gigs with no one to promote or market her. She ended up signing with the independent record label, Flying Nun a label she felt she could be friends with and hang out with. She released several singles since her self-titled EP such as Lucky Girl in 2017. She loves the fact that she has been seeing the outside of her city of Auckland and meeting her fans. Her music is a mix of Indie pop and dream pop with some good old-fashioned rock and roll. She will release her latest album, Break on October 14th and I'm sure a tour will follow. Check out this super-talented multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter and support independent music and musicians worldwide. Happy listening!
