Eveta

The Latin music scene is exploding around the world, especially with reggaeton, hip-hop, and pop music. Argentinian singer-songwriter Eveta knew from an early age that he wanted to be a singer. Neither of his parents are musicians or singers but as "the weird kid in the family" he felt a

calling and decided to go into music. He first started out taking Salsa dancing while in high school as well as singing Argentinian folk music. Eveta says he was influenced by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, Shakira, and Madonna. At age 19 he decided this was his path and has not stopped ever since. You can hear those influences on his dance song, YSL which was released in 2020. I love the song and had to get up and dance when I heard it. This artist is on an upward spiral musically and each song has a feel-good element that makes you both smile and dance. He moved to Toronto, Canada to pursue his career there and made his stage debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2017 he released an EP, The Ultimate Truth, and started getting noticed but in 2020 after releasing the EP, Higher his career has taken off. There are several danceable tracks along with some reggaeton stylings and pop music. Eveta believes in diversity and says it makes you more open-minded. He just released his new single, Jinx. Looking forward to hearing more from this talented singer-songwriter and seeing him live especially here in NYC. Check out Eveta and support independent music and musicians worldwide. I leave you with Eveta's quote: When you listen to me, I’d love for you to feel like you can do and achieve anything,” he leaves off. “It doesn’t matter where you come from, what your background is, your sexual orientation, or the color of your skin. That’s what I’d like for you to think and feel.” Happy Listening!
