Anteros

English dream pop group Anteros is an eclectic ensemble known for their edgy, dream pop stylings. Vocalist Laura Hayden grew up in Barcelona with her Spanish mother and English father, started out as a DJ and MTV Spain personality. Bassist Joshua Rumble was a graphic designer. He and Hayden first got together in 2014 and released a single before adding guitar and drums to the line-up. The current band also includes Jackson Couzens on guitar and drummer Harry Balazs.

The group has recorded several singles and three EPs, Anteros (2015), Breakfast (2016), and Drunk (2017) and toured extensively as both a supporting act with Two Door Cinema Club, Blaenavon, and White Lies and as headliners in their own right. The foursome graced the stages of Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds festivals, bringing their memorable sound to the masses.

Of the title track from their most recent release, Atwood Magazine hails “Drunk” as a “spiked punch of reality, the latest in a long list of reasons to fall in love with the ambitious entity that is Anteros.”
