The post-punk Vermont band Thus Love was formed in late 2019 just before the pandemic hit. Their debut album finally saw the light of day in 2022. Loud and Quiet applauded the record, noting, “Every song is a mini masterpiece of despair, acceptance and revival.” Now we have the follow-up, post personnel changes, with bassist Ally Juleen and guitarist/keyboardist Shane Blank joining founders Echo Mars (guitar vocals) and Lu Racine (drums) for the latest chapter in their musical journey. All Pleasure showcases fine vocals and melodies with solid guitar work as well. Clash raves, “All this is wrapped within a sonic environment which at times is extraordinary.
