Leader Mic Nickels (aka Nickel Five or Nickel Killsmics) unveiled a preview from his upcoming project with Serbian beat-meister/producer Kiza last month. The Impressionist, due out later this year, will be just the latest project from this busy emcee. In addition to his work with Nickel and Dime Ops (who had a long-term residency at NYC’s Smoke jazz club), he’s collaborated with MHB, Ian Hendrickson-Smith from The Roots, Method Man, and many others.
